Deuterium-depleted water (DDW), also known as light water (or” extra light water”, like our products, which have a very low Deuterium concentration), is water that has a lower concentration of deuterium than occurs naturally.

In “Vienna Standard Mean Ocean Water” VSMOW (*) deuterium occurs at a rate of 155.76 ppm. All natural occuring water, like drinking water has deuterium levels around this value.

(*) (VSMOW) is a water standard defining the isotopic composition of fresh water.

Simply put, deuterium-depleted water is natural water cleared of most of its heavy, radioactive components thru an advanced technologial process. This is why deuterium-depleted water is called ”light water”.

About Deuterium

Deuterium is a heavier isotope of hydrogen which has, in addition to its one proton, a neutron that roughly doubles the mass of the hydrogen atom.

In nature, deuterium helps things grow.  For example, high levels of deuterium is biologically wanted in babies, teenagers, and all growing plants and animals. Once this growing process stops, there is no natural need to accumulate more deuterium. Unfortunately, the side effects of a modern life like pollution, global warming, processed and GMO foods, less healthy lifestyle, etc.  have resulted in many people having way too much deuterium inside their cells. Having too much deuterium in your cells can lead to premature aging, metabolic problems, and disease.

This results in a progressively increasing inability to deplete deuterium and the destruction of our nanomotors.

If you want, deuterium is like a thick oil  added to a good engine, this makes the engine sputters and eventually breaks.

Evolution has put systems in place to deplete deuterium and protect the “little engines” in our cell’s mitochondria called nanomotors from coming in contact with this thick oil.

Less nanomotors means less energy and more sickness and disease.

Our light water (deuterium-depleted water) is produced in state of the art, specialized production facilities and actual water depletion to such low deuterium levels is conducted using a patented method.

Because the production of light water (deuterium-Depleted water) is a very energy-intensive process, the cost of production is by definition high and this reflects in the price of our light water products.
